The United States Department of Justice has officially released more than 3 million pages of investigative documents, images, and videos related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, marking one of the largest public disclosures in US legal history.
The massive document release follows the passage of the Epstein Files Transparency Act in late 2025, a law aimed at forcing full public accountability and ending decades of secrecy surrounding Epstein’s criminal network.
According to official statements, the files include approximately 3 million pages of documents, 180,000 images, and more than 2,000 videos. The materials contain emails, financial records, flight logs, internal investigation notes, surveillance materials, and witness statements collected over many years of federal investigations.
Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche confirmed that the data was released in compliance with the law but noted that certain sections were withheld due to victim protection rules, national security concerns, and ongoing legal proceedings.
Lawmakers and advocacy groups have welcomed the release but insist that full transparency has still not been achieved. Victim organizations argue that critical portions may still remain classified, while personal details of victims have been inadequately protected.
This unprecedented release has triggered political shockwaves across the United States and Europe, reopening investigations and sparking renewed public outrage over alleged government cover-ups.
