
Young Africans Sports Club, commonly known as Yanga, is a Tanzanian professional football club with a rich history dating back to its establishment in 1935. The club was founded in Dar es Salaam and has since become one of the most successful clubs in Tanzanian football history. Yanga has won the Tanzanian Premier League title 30 times and has also achieved success in various domestic cup competitions. The club’s roots can be traced back to the early 1910s, but it officially began in 1935 when Dar es Salaam residents formed a football club to compete against non-African teams in the league.
