Many modern successful corporations started out as small companies created by enthusiasts – people who wanted to achieve success and were purposefully striving for their dream.
5. Chance to change the world.
Having your own business will allow you to change the world. When Steve Jobs invited the top manager of “Pepsi”, John Scully, to lead Apple, he said to him: “Do you want to trade sugared water for the rest of your life or get a chance to change the world?” If you have any ideas about how people should live, if you want to bring something new to the world, the best way to do it is to take the helm of your own company.
